HOPE•EDU
Digital learning support for Lagos State schools
Supported by Lagos State & World Bank
About us

Helping teachers and pupils stay on the same page

HOPE•EDU is a digital learning platform for public schools in Lagos State. It keeps all subjects — Mathematics, English, Science and more — neatly organised so that what the teacher explains in class is exactly what pupils see on their screens.

The design is simple on purpose: big subject tiles, plain language and a familiar layout on every page. If a teacher can open a browser, they can learn to use HOPE•EDU without special training.

Who is HOPE•EDU for?

The platform is built for everyday classroom use — not for tech experts. It supports teachers, pupils and school leaders in very practical ways:

Teachers
  • Select subject and class in just a few clicks.
  • Open topics that match the lesson plan and textbook.
  • Reuse the same screens for revision and homework support.
Pupils & leaders
  • Pupils see big, clear subject buttons with simple wording.
  • Heads of schools know the content follows state guidelines.
  • Parents can support learning at home with the same material.

How HOPE•EDU fits into a school day

Schools can use HOPE•EDU in computer labs, classrooms with projectors or on shared devices. The routine is simple and easy to remember:

  • 1
Sign in with the school’s username and password provided by the Lagos State education authorities.
  • 2
Choose a subject such as Mathematics, Science or English from the green subject buttons.
  • 3
Open today’s topic and guide pupils through worked examples, short explanations and practice questions.
  • 4
Revisit earlier topics when you need quick revision, exam preparation or extra practice for pupils who need support.

Who runs HOPE•EDU?

HOPE•EDU is developed and managed by Red Dot Africa Educational Services Ltd. in close partnership with the Lagos State Government and with support from the World Bank.

Together, our shared goal is clear: to give every child in Lagos access to structured, easy-to-use digital content that supports what teachers are already doing in the classroom.

Our promise to schools

We understand that many schools work with limited time, devices and data. That is why HOPE•EDU is built to be light, clear and calm:

  • Pages load quickly, with simple layouts and large buttons.
  • Language is straightforward — suitable for teachers and pupils alike.
  • The same structure repeats across subjects, so once you learn it, you can use it everywhere.

In short, if a teacher can open a browser, they can use HOPE•EDU.
